English title: The Best Sandcastle in the World

Tiina Laanem · Illustrated by Tiiu KitsikPegasus, 202436 pages, hard cover

Hugo’s grandfather is always building something. Hugo would like to hammer a nail or take a turn with the saw, but he is not allowed to — so his grandfather suggests they build a sandcastle instead. By morning it has been knocked flat. The story asks why someone would wreck what others made with care, and what it is in a person that wants to.
